Dear John, the waiter at Outback,
You were totally rocking the day my friend and I sat at your table at Outback on 23rd. You were friendly and funny. It wasn’t an overbearing kind of “see me, I’m funny” type of funny, but the understated funny that stays with someone once they have left you.
I appreciated your suggestions on a drink - the Wallaby Darned is now my favorite drink of all time, and every time I have one, I think of you.
We went back a few times to see if we could catch you, but we never saw you again. Whereever you are, I hope you are doing well and enjoying life!
